City Map

The BVG City Map supports your search for stops and addresses (only for Berlin). It is also possible to display the route course of your trip in the map using a link under the details of the connection.

General

Please notice that some features need an activated JavaScript in your browser. Buttons performing actions in the map are generally found at the right border of the map.

Search

Please type in a stop or an address (only available for Berlin) into the edit field. You can reduce the number of hits by using the checkboxes (is your input a stop or an address?). Clicking on "search" starts the query. A distinct input results in a (with a red ring) marked stop or address in the map. Additionally the name of the search result will be inscribed beside the ring into the map. If your input is ambiguous (e. g. "Hauptstrasse 5"), you can choose one of the hits from the list.

Navigation

You can move the map in eight directions by clicking on the arrows integrated in the border of the map.

Zoom

There are five zoom levels available. Zooming in is possible by clicking on the "+" symbol, zooming out works by clicking on the "-" symbol. A click on the buttons in between results in a direct switch to the selected zoom level. A convenient alternative to the buttons is the rubber band. Just hold the left mouse button while clicking into the map and drag the rubber band over the map area that you want to see enlarged.

Transfer to fahrinfo

If you have found a stop or an address by using the search function and the result is marked by the red ring, you are able to transfer the result to fahrinfo using the appropriate buttons (as start or as destination of your connection).
